ADMIRE Plus (A+) is a national award-winning intensive outpatient treatment program for persons with co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. It promotes a health and wellness vision of one's life through a program of recovery, using a harm reduction model. A+ provides an opportunity for members to learn how to effectively manage and cope with their symptoms and cravings. It is person centered, and uses a variety of evidence-based methods: SMART RecoveryŽ, Motivational Interviewing, motivational incentives, and Auricular Acupuncture. As one progresses through the phases of the program, assistance is given for fuller participation in community life, such as work and school. A+ provides an opportunity for members to learn how to effectively manage and cope with their symptoms, cravings and other individual concerns. A+ is continuously evolving and uses a variety of empirically supported methods. Participants will learn about the program and how to replicate it according to their needs. Quantitative evaluations and client feedback about A+ will also be presented.
