In order to effectively evaluate public health policy, we will identify and discuss appropriate methodological tools. During this session will explore potential solutions to the challenges of evaluating public health policy. Participants will work in groups to review case studies from peer-reviewed literature of public health policy evaluation and as a large group we will critique the appropriateness and effectiveness of the evaluation. We also will work as a group to draft a policy evaluation plan based on a sample public health policy.
