There is little debate regarding the need for healthcare reform and significant improvements in our healthcare system. Unfortunately, the reduction of health disparities in minority and rural populations has largely been absent from the health reform debate. This session will discuss legislative and policy strategies that could be considered in the context of health reform that will address racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare.
