The presenter will discuss why a "crisis communication" should be developed in the pre-crisis phase, and how reasonable questions can be anticipated and preliminary answers sought.

Describe elements of a sound Crisis Communication Plan. Identify strategies for effectively handling communications in the first 48 hours of an event. Design a plan using appropriate communication channels to widely disseminate public health information.
