With a burgeoning interest in sustainability, consumers are faced with an increase in the number of products that are marketed with false or unsubstantiated claims about their environmental and/or health benefits. This presentation will help participants learn how to spot "greenwashing" and how to specify, evaluate and purchase products -- particularly green cleaners and asthma-safe disinfectants -- that have documented benefits to human health and the environment.
