231998 Review of CDC's Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Case Registry

After conducting national training academies on comprehensive infant death scene investigation practices, a feasibility study and input from private and public partners, the CDC launched the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) Case Registry with five states participating in the pilot program. The SUID Case Registry functions as an enhancement to the existing National Center for Child Death Review's Case Reporting System. This session will explain the background, purpose and objectives of the SUID Case Registry as well as some early feedback utilizing this new system.
