This presentation will illustrate the effectiveness of internet lectures to reach out to global audiences in the practice of epidemiology using the Supercourse global lecture repository as an example. The complexity of disease investigations and the approaches needed to collect, analyze, and interpret data in an increasingly interconnected world raises the need for global education in epidemiology. Using specific examples and evidence-based information, this session highlights the transformative nature of technology and global collaboration for the training of epidemiology to improve global health.
