A key step to link PHN interventions to population health outcomes is integrating the research agenda and public health nursing practice. Such integration is crucial to moving the agenda forward. This requires disseminating the priorities resulting from consensus discussions to researchers, research condumers,and importantly, to the organizations and agencies that fund research. New Priorities must be trnsformed into funding priorities.
