Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am a current and active member of APHA and the Caucus on Public Health and the Faith Community. I was the former Chair of the Caucus for 3 years. In addition, I also serve on the Equal Health Opportunity Committee, a standing committee of APHA. I have a MPH and over 22 years of public health experience and was certified as a Health Education Specialist. I am currently the Minister for Health Care Justice for the national offices of the United Church of Christ and I oversee the work of this demonination on all health and health-related issues. I work ecumenically and with other faith organizations collaboratively to lift the voice of the faith community in social justice issues especially related to health. I am able to connect public health to the work of the faith community as a unit of practice.
