Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Dr. Jennifer S. Perkins received her Ph.D. in Health Studies/Community Health from Texas Woman's University in 2004. She received both her MPH and BS from Indiana University. Her dissertation research was titled "Perceptions, Attitudes, and Behaviors of African American Female Adolescents Exposed to Sexually Explicit Music Videos". She joined the Walden team in 2009, serving as Practicum Coordinator and full-time faculty. Her research interests are focused on sexuality and reproductive health specific to adolescents and women. Additionally, she has provided guidance and direction for community-based adolescent and young adult programs related to sexuality and sexually transmitted infections.
