Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Ms. Sara Patterson is CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control’s Acting Associate Director for Policy. I oversee health policy, partnership, and Congressional liaison activities for the Injury Center at CDC. Before working at the Injury Center, I also supervised activities related to CDC’s budget and policy formulation process, congressional affairs, legislative analysis, and performance management within CDC's Financial Management Office. I also worked on state legislative and policy with Kids PEPP (Public Education and Policy Project) for the Ounce of Prevention Fund in Chicago, a state-level organization specializing in legislative and policy issues related to children age zero through three. I also worked for the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees, providing trauma counseling and case management services for refugees in Amman, Jordan.
