Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: My health disparities research experiences spans 19 years at the University of South Carolina where my focus the last ten years has been on cancer disparities and HIV/AIDS with a specific emphasis on cervical cancer disparities in African American women and the alarming trend in HIV/AIDS for rural, minority women. I am the Associate Dean for Health Disparities and Social Justice for the Arnold School of Public Health and the Director of the Institute for Health Disparities for the University of SC that is an interdisciplinary health sciences center of excellence.
