Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am qualified to be session moderator because I am a pediatric optometrist and principal investigator of a study funded by the National Eye Institute which is designed to improve preschool vision screening in the medical home as well as diagnosis of amblyopia and strabismus by eye specialists. I am a member of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group which has conducted clinical trials of treatment efficacy for amblyopia and strabismus. I have managed a community based preschool vision screening program and have coordinated eye care for preschool children.
