This session will focus on interdisciplinary management, primarily of back pain patients in a variety of settings. These include underserved communities, rural populations and veterans. Referral patterns between chiropractors and other health care disciplines will be explored.
Session Objectives: Discuss the role of community-based health centers in adopting evidence based standards for the management of low back pain. Describe a plan that may lead to novel multidisciplinary approach including CAM services in a rural health network. Demonstrate the type of health disparities that exist for rural populations.
