In this session, presenters will make presentations and answer questions on topics pertaining to war and social justice. Papers will include presentations on civil liberties and human rights, the use of drones in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the adverse health consequences of war on civilians, and war and social justice issues in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burma.
Session Objectives: Describe several current issues pertaining to war and social justice. Describe what public health workers can do to address these issues.
