Language, cultural, economic and access barriers did not stop the public health nursing workforce from promoting health promotion and disease prevention strategies including an vast and varied populations especially in response to the Pandemic of 2009-2010. This session addresses hot topic issues in public health nursing.
Session Objectives: 1. The learner will be able to describe one of hot topics in public health nursing.
2. The learner will discuss population based public health nursing preparation at the graduate level.
