Panelists will discuss trends in web-based technology, informatics and open government. Uses of technology in leadership development will be explored in the context of building public health infrastructure and addressing broader issues of community engagement and social navigation.
Session Objectives: • Discuss innovative use of technology in leadership and workforce development in the context of distance and blended learning • Explore the differences and similarities across the disciplines of community informatics, educational informatics and public health informatics • Discuss leadership implications for public health practice of Open Government and Community Health Data initiatives
