This session will examine genuine examples of policy-change efforts following the the release of county health rankings. It will discuss populations with no access to health-related services.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be better able to: Compare the factors associated with successful policy change efforts. Identify at least three strategies that states could employ when coordinating their own statewide or regional efforts to improve food and physical activity environments. Identify the steps in designing and implementing a media advocacy nutrition policy campaign.
