This session will examine genuine examples of policy-change efforts following the the release of county health rankings. It will discuss populations with no access to health-related services.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be better able to: • Compare the factors associated with successful policy change efforts. • Identify at least three strategies that states could employ when coordinating their own statewide or regional efforts to improve food and physical activity environments. • Identify the steps in designing and implementing a media advocacy nutrition policy campaign.
