This session describes a broad array of factors associated with mental health functioning and needs of youth, including the role of family and social disconnectedness.
Session Objectives: Describe factors associated with mental health needs of adolescents. Describe transience, disconnectedness and criminal behavior of youth and their association with mental health needs. Discuss the role of family and it’s association with youths’ mental health.
