This session describes mental health needs and strategies to address them in war torn areas as well as suggesting translation of expertise in war and disaster to address trauma-related needs in other areas.
Session Objectives: Identify strategies for improving access to mental health services is war torn areas. Evaluate long term impacts of terrorist attacks in the US Explain how disaster protocols can be used for a broader array of needs
