For over ten years, the Community-Based Public Health (CBPH) Caucus has been an advocate for social justice within the American Public Health Association (APHA) and beyond. Two invited speakers will reflect on the history, progress, and future challenges and opportunities for the Caucus and the movement in CBPH. A Founding Member of the CBPH Caucus and recipient of the Tom Bruce Award, will provide an academic partner perspective. A Founding Member and Past-chair of the National Community-Based Organization Network (a collective voice of community-based organizations founded by Caucus members), will provide community partner perspective.
