Lessons from public health practice Part 1

Local health departments are increasingly involved in policy, environment, and systems change initiatives. Public Health Seattle King County recently developed, implemented, and evaluated a menu-labeling initiative which will serve as a case study for this two-part session. Part 1 of this example from the field, will illustrate the process of local policy development, implementation, and enforcement of the menu labeling initiative.
