Operation Smile first arrived in Vietnam in 1989. This short video documents the first 20 years of Operation Smile's work in Vietnam, providing free medical care to children born with Cleft Lip and/or Cleft Palate. Along the way, the simple smile of a child helped by Operation Smile also helps to mend the scars left from the Vietnam War and heals the wounds remaining between former enemies.
