Evaluation of a broad coalition-based policy change program such as CPPW requires the rapid development of new relationships between a variety of community sectors. In cities with wide health disparities, inequalities in power structures and historically unequal relationships can complicate the development of broad based coalitions. Cluster 1 of the CPPW project pools 9 cities with a higher density of Hispanic residents with a combined average of 33.35% Hispanic residents. This roundtable discussion will be open to other invited communities with large Hispanic populations to share insights and lessons learned from developing evaluation frameworks to assess policy and environmental change in CPPW communities.
