School-based oral health programs have been a key contributor to improving the oral health of New Hampshire children. The NH's Oral Health Program Manager will discuss factors that have made school-based oral health programs successful in her state: public health supervision of dental hygienists, school and community buy-in, RDH care coordination for referrals to local dentists, program cost and long-term positive outcomes.
