Deamonte Driver Dental Project

This presentation includes the description and process of how the Deamonte Driver Dental Project—a group of dentists and other dental personnel mobilized to launch an emergency plan to examine and provide treatment for other children at Deamonte's school. The dentist are members of the Robert T. Freeman Dental Society. This effort translated into a new mobile van that is used in low income schools to both screen and treat children. The ultimate objective is to identify dental homes for these children and their families.
