The deputy assistant secretary of labor for mine safety and health will present information on MSHA's current enforcement and regulatory policies.

At the end of this session, the learner will be able to: (1) list at least two of MSHA’s regulatory priorities and the timeline for proposing or finalizing the rule; (2) describe at least two of MSHA’s enforcement strategies and the agency’s assessment of their effectiveness; and (3) identify at least one practice or opportunity for inter-agency, federal collaboration on worker health and safety.
