One of the key initiatives of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Office of Health Affairs (HA) is, of course, to focus on victim care. To that end, OSD HA is now involved in an effort to improve the quality of care to the Department of Defense victim of sexual assault by removing variance in the medical response. These efforts by HA will have a wide-reaching impact throughout the medical community. During this presentation, the presenter will identify ways in which the Office of the Secretary of Defense Health Affairs is improving the quality of care to the DoD Victim of sexual assault by removing variance in the medical response.
