The Life Course Perspective is a conceptual framework that helps explain health and disease patterns across populations and over time. This presentation will present an overview of a community-based model that uses a life course perspective and addresses the social determinants of health to improve the health and well-being of MCH populations.

Social and behavioral sciences
Systems thinking models (conceptual and theoretical models), applications related to public health

- Demonstrate a greater understanding of how the life course theory can be adapted to a community setting - Discuss the challenges and opportunities of advancing a life course perspective in maternal and child health practice.
