Supporting a strong maternal and child health workforce is a priority for State Maternal and Child Health programs. This presentation will provide an overview of key workforce issue for state Maternal and Child Health Programs and also highlight specific state efforts to recruit, retain and develop maternal and child health professionals. In addition, national leadership programs to support state maternal and child health professionals will be shared.
