253841 Evaluation of the National Public Health Improvement Initiative

The goal of the National Public Health Improvement Initiative (NPHII) is to systematically increase the performance management capacity of public health departments and improve their ability to meet public health goals. This presentation will describe how the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) is working in collaboration with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local, state, and national partners to implement evaluation strategies to examine the achievements and impact of the NPHII. The evaluation objectives and components will be discussed and initial findings will be reviewed.
