I have been asked to be a discussant for this presentation on the topic of public health leadership development evaluation models and methods due to my background and experience in public health and evaluation methods as well as my extensive experience as an Action Learning Coach. The session will include a panel discussion of innovative approaches to leadership development and evaluation. Models, methods, and tools will be presented, discussed, and shared to assist in related efforts to strengthen the performance and effectiveness of public health systems.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I serve as an Action Learning Consultant and Coach for the CCL-Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Ladder to Leadership Program. I am also the lead researcher for a CDC-funded project which focuses on the use of action learning projects for leadership development and am the developer and lead trainer for a 6 month Action Learning Coach Development program.
