My areas of focus are professional nursing practice and population health, including disaster preparedness and response, immunizations, nursing practice and clinical guidelines, and nurse staffing. I am the project director for ANA’s immunization initiative Bringing Immunity to Every Community, a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I also assist in the development and revision of standards of nursing practice.
