Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am an Associate Professor in Morgan State University’s (MSU) School of Community Health and Policy and received my doctoral degree from the University of Maryland College Park, respectively. At Morgan State University, I am Director of the Why Culture Matters Disaster Studies Project and with over 25 years experience in community organizing and partnership development. I also teach Community Needs and Solutions, Community-Based Participatory Research, and Qualitative Research in Public Health. Lastly, I served as an investigator for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funded National Center for the Study of Preparedness and Catastrophic Event Response (PACER).
