Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I currently serve as the VP for Policy and Advocacy for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. In this capacity I am responsible for increasing the participation of pharmacy faculty in health service research as it applies to improving quality through improved medication management and increased patient access to team-based patient-centered care. My responsibilities also include seeking federal funding for health services research through agencies such as the Agency for Health Research and Quality and to educate members of Congress and their staff of the role AHRQ plays in improving health care quality and the benefits of AHRQ supported research to increasing access to high quality care.
