Sexual-reproductive education in schools aims to prevent adolescent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases and decrease threats to self esteem. This session will discuss school sexual-reproductive health education in diverse communities, research on primary prevention for reducing HPV-related cancers, parent opinions and support of school sexuality education, and application of an evaluation framework to a state wide program.
Session Objectives: 1. Discuss parent parent opinions and support of school sexuality education 2. Describe an evaluation framework for a state or regional sexuality education program 3. Compare sexuality reproductive education in diverse communities
