This session examines correlates of prescription drug abuse in a variety of populations, including youth, persons over 50 years of age, and illicit substance abusers. Implications for prescribing practice policy will be discussed.
Session Objectives: Describe the correlates of prescription drug abuse in various population subgroups. Discuss changes in prescribing policy that can promote positive change.
