This session focuses on environmental and occupational health. The oral presentations discuss: community action to develop environmentally healthy neighborhoods; the development of nursing competencies to improve environmental health practice; the development of tools to assess young worker saftey; and identification of predictors of environmental health actions.
Session Objectives: 1. Discuss strategies for developing environmentally healthy neighborhoods
2. Identify interventions that promote environmental health
3. Describe a tool used to assess young worker safety
