Dr. John Ruffin, Director of the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) will discuss role of NIMDH in working to improve minority health and eliminating health disparities. He will also discuss funding sources available through NIMHD and the role of social work in a variety of health care settings in combating health disparities.
