The use of policy as a tool to improve the public health has been touted for many years. Recently the health impact of this tool has become realized in significant ways. This session will review the use of policy as a health improvement tool and look at its success in a variety of areas.
Session Objectives: Describe the use of policy as a health improvement tool. Discuss the use of policy in a variety of areas. Demonstrate the health impact of policy when used to improve the public's health.
