This presentation will identify and review the types of data collected by the National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) of the National Center for Health Statistics. Examples of how the NHANES data are used to inform public health programs and policy will be provided. Participants will also learn ways of applying the collected data to their individual research interests.
