This presentation will describe how NCHS health surveys have been linked to administrative records, including claims data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, data from the Social Security Administration, and the National Death Index, and geographically linked to air quality and traffic indicators. Using topical health policy topics as examples, this talk will describe analytic issues unique to these data. Data access and availability will be explicitly described.
