The first signs of autism and developmental often appear in the first year of life. Optometrists have the unique opportunity to recognize those babies at risk for autism and developmental delay. This course will assist you in the identification of the early signs and symptoms of autism and provide guidance in the development of a management plan when the signs and symptoms are present. The course will include ways to develop a referral network and other resources.
