Background: Since inception in 2008, CF3 has trained 1,471 multi-disciplined providers in Colorado. The statewide preventive program aims to cross-train primary care providers to address the severity and consequences of early childhood caries in young children and pregnant women.

Methods: An overview of the Cavity Free at Three Model will be demonstrated. Training sessions will be highlighted to insure participants understand protocols for program implementation. Training materials will be shared. Evaluation data will be highlighted with results shared from 463 participant surveys, regarding attendees evaluation of the effectiveness of program information as well as the knowledge and presentation skills of the CF3 facilitator.

Results: 1451 multi-disciplined providers have been trained in the model. Program success has included 37 statewide training opportunities outreaching 13,942 children and pregnant women in 2011. Evaluation surveys from 463 supporting long-term program success and effectiveness indicated by participants' ability to deliver Oral Health Services in a variety of healthcare settings.
