Globalization has impacted all sectors of the economy including the academic landscape. The results and findings of the CAHME International Healthcare Management Education Studies (Phase I & II) will be presented and discussed. All accredited graduate programs in the USA & Canada were invited to complete the surveys. 24 international countries were examined in addition to specific international universities, providers and academic programs. The surveys provided information on international activities, areas of international involvement, faculty activities, international courses and curriculum, alumni and ideas on global healthcare management education. Study findings will be discussed along with identified program trends and opportunities. Global healthcare management education issues and future directions will be examined.
