One PASO at a time is a 11min video documentary-like that introduces health care barriers that latino families have to face in South Carolina and how these are being addressed by the PASOS program. Lack of information, lack of support and understanding the complex U.S health care system are the main barriers that the program PASOS addresses. This program is hosted by the Arnold School of Public health at the University of South Carolina and its final goal is to empower latino families to gain access to resources and have healthy families. To conclude, this documentary through interviews, testimonies and direct access to the core of the program illustrates how during 5 years it has being working to achieve its goals and how their hard work is being acknowledge and recognized at state and national level thanks to their successful practice with the latino community in South Carolina.
