Background : People with disabilities is experience with discrimination experience leads to the deprivation of societal and economic opportunities. Also It leads to psychologically, mental health and secondary condition. However, a number of studies which to examine between self-rated health, symptoms of depression and perceptions of discrimination is insufficient. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship of perceptions of discrimination, self-rated health and symptoms of depression in physical disabilities. Method : Design of research is cross-sectional study. A total for 743 adults with physical disabilities completed a multi-choice questionnaire. The questionnaire included health-related factors(smoking, drinking, exercise), self-rated health, symptoms of depression(Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression, CES-D), perceptions of discrimination and demographic questions. Result : The Self-rated health was significantly associated with age, income, education, marry, job, disability grade. In addition, it was a boundary level significantly associated with perceptions of discrimination. And The symptoms of depression was significantly associated with income, education, job, perceptions of discrimination. The results of multiple logistic regression analysis(after controlling for demographic and health-related factor) showed that significant affecting poor self-rated health was perception a lot of discrimination[OR=2.19 (95%CI 1.38-3.49)]. Also, Odds ratios of symptoms of depression were perception a lot of discrimination compared with perception never discrimination[OR=2.64 (95%CI 1.66-4.20)]. Conclusion: The data suggest a need for improved perceptions of discrimination and health-related service among people physical disabilities.
