271464 Update on Federal OSHA Initiatives

The assistant secretary of labor for occupational safety and health will present information on OSHA's current agency enforcement and regulatory policies, including efforts to reduce health disparities and advance worker rights and protections.

At the end of this session, the learner will be able to: (1) list at least two of OSHA’s regulatory priorities and the timeline for proposing or finalizing the rule; (2) describe at least two of OSHA’s new enforcement strategies and the worker population expected to benefit from it; and (3) identify at least one practice or opportunity for inter-agency, federal collaboration on worker health and safety.
