This discussion will provide an overview of global health opportunities suitable for students and emerging professionals. Initiatives such as Project Hope, which is an international health education program, will be covered. This session will also review internship programs at various public health organizations such as APHA. Students will be provided with guidance and recommendations on how to position themselves to be quality candidates for these professional development opportunities. Instructors will help students to recognize how their educational pursuits will translate in the public health workforce. Overall this will be instrumental in helping students identify next steps in their pursuit to be a global public health professional and leader.
