This presentation will highlight how a community-academic partnership has worked together using the public health approach to change the culture of alcohol use in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The presenter will specifically describe the distinct role of the academic partner, along with strategies and lessons learned in applying a public health approach to build community support for long-term change to reduce alcohol-related injuries and deaths
